Ahmedabad: The shares of Aarnav Fashions Limited (BSE: 539562), a leading player in the textile segment, surged to a fresh 52-week high after reporting robust numbers, with net profit rising by a 217.8% for the quarter ended December 2024.
On Friday, Aarnav Fashions’ shares rose to Rs. 74.90, a new 52-week high, as against the previous closing price of Rs. 70.22. The shares touched an intraday low of Rs. 72.36 before closing at Rs. 73.50, 4.7% higher than the previous day’s close. The company’s market cap touched Rs. 310.45 crore.
Aarnav Fashion, headquartered in Ahmedabad, on Thursday, reported net profit of Rs. 4.32 crore for the quarter ended December 2024, an increase of 217.8% over profit of Rs. 1.36 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net profit also jumped by more than 100% from the second quarter’s figure of Rs. 2.15 crore. The company’s revenue for the December quarter was Rs. 94.68 crore, an increase of 17.5% over the previous year’s Rs. 80.55 crore.
The robust financial performance is due to strong demand in both domestic and international markets, coupled with operational efficiencies and product diversification.
