Ahmedabad: The energy and excitement of Navratri are in full swing at Khelaiya 2024, one of Ahmedabad’s most popular garba events. Held at Shriyam Party Plot near Science City, this grand celebration of the state’s rich cultural heritage has drawn garba lovers from all over the city. Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel visited the venue on Wednesday, interacting with garba participants and adding to the high spirits of the event and the Navratri celebrations.
Khelaiya 2024 has been an unforgettable experience, offering a perfect mix of traditional and modern elements. The key highlight is the world’s biggest “Chaniya Choli”, the traditional costume worn by women while performing garba. Several sarees were put together to prepare the handmade 70-foot chaniya choli that has captivated the participants. The venue also features beautifully handcrafted selfie points and intricate décor by NIF Global.
With just two days left for the festival of Navratri to conclude, the organisers invite everyone to join the festivities.
