17th Gauravvanta Gujarati Awards honours outstanding achievers

 

 

Ahmedabad: In a grand celebration of artistic excellence and cultural contributions, the 17th edition of the prestigious Gauravvanta Gujarati Awards, organised by the International Creative Art Society, took place in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The awards, founded by Atrish Trivedi, recognise the achievements of Gujarati talent.

 

This year’s awards honoured outstanding figures from various creative fields, including film, music, literature, and fashion. Among the esteemed recipients were actress Supriya Pathak, acclaimed filmmaker Hansal Mehta, and renowned producer Anand Pandit. Singer Paresh Pahuja, actor Chirag Vohra, and director Vishal Furia were also recognised for their exceptional contributions to the entertainment industry.

 

Youth Icon Sanjana Sanghi and Miss Universe India Rhea Singha were celebrated for their achievements on the global stage. Choreographer Urvashi Chauhan, producer Sharad Patel, folk singer Brijraj Gadhvi, veteran actor Siddharth Randeriya, and distinguished author Kajal Oza Vaidya.

 

The evening, conceptualised, managed and curated by The Bollywood Hub’s Grishma Trivedi, was further elevated by mesmerising performances from acclaimed choreographer Ganesh Acharya, singer Brijraj Gadhvi, and renowned folk artist Maharshi Pandya. A vibrant fashion show, with Shazan Padamsee and Elnaaz Norouzi as the showstoppers, added to the spectacle. Performances by Arvind Vegda and Urvashi Chauhan were the other highlights of the memorable night.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Atrish Trivedi, Founder-Chairman of the International Creative Art Society, said, “For 17 years, the Gauravvanta Gujarati Awards have been a symbol of appreciation for the exceptional talent of Gujaratis in various fields. It is a privilege to honour Gujaratis who have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also showcased Gujarat’s artistic and cultural prowess on a larger stage. We congratulate the award recipients and salute their immense contributions.”

 

Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, AMC Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani, and Ramesh Merja of Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board were the special guests on the occasion. Also present were director Dharmesh Mehta and producer Pranjal Khandhdia.

 

The Gauravvanta Gujarati Awards continue to recognise and honour Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage and the ever-growing influence of Gujaratis in the creative world, and inspire future generations to dream big.
